The Role:
The successful candidate will work remotely from South Africa, collaborating closely with our UK-based team. This role requires a proactive, data-driven professional who can manage and coordinate the bid process, ensuring high standards and compliance with tender requirements.
The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in bid writing and proposal development, demonstrating experience in producing structured, persuasive content that drives client engagement and supports successful bid outcomes. Familiarity with tender language, industry-specific terminology, and a high standard of written communication are critical to this role.
You will manage the complete lifecycle of tenders, including both e-tenders and traditional submissions, spanning public and private sector frameworks. This position is crucial in securing opportunities by ensuring every bid meets compliance standards, adheres to deadlines, and showcases our client’s competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end bidding and e-tender process, from identification to submission, ensuring timely and high-quality proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align bid responses with client expectations and compliance standards.
- Utilise data-driven insights to enhance bid effectiveness and improve win rates.
- Engage with frameworks such as NHS tenders to ensure responses meet industry standards and regulations.
- Develop structured bid responses, articulating our client's unique offerings, services, and industry expertise with precision.
- Tailor written responses to client specifications and expectations, crafting clear and impactful language that stands out.
- Ensure compliance with bid evaluation criteria and meticulously proof proposals for clarity, quality, and accuracy.
- Integrate industry insights and data to support compelling cases for our client's services and solutions.
- Manage and respond to all tender types (e-tenders and non-digital submissions) across public and private sectors.
- Oversee frameworks to ensure compliance with both sector-specific standards and unique client expectations.
- Proactively track deadlines, submitting all documentation accurately and on time, while prioritising high-value opportunities.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of public and private sector procurement requirements, adapting bids accordingly.
- Coordinate resources, documentation, and strategy to streamline the bid process and enhance win rates.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in bidding and tender management, particularly within the UK market.
- Experience with NHS/Framework tenders is highly advantageous.
- Data-driven approach, with a strong ability to analyse and interpret bid-related metrics.
- Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistency in document preparation and submission.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and provide insights into bid performance.
