Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational functions.
- Ensure full compliance to operation controls, policies, procedures and service standards.
- Lead all key property issues including capital projects, maintenance, customer service and refurbishment.
- Handling complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures.
- Manage on-going profitability, ensuring revenue and resident satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
- Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.
- A strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
- Closely monitor business reports on a daily basis and make decisions accordingly.
- Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for Accommodation, Food & Beverage, Admin & General, are on target and accurate.
- Maximising revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programes.
- Prepare daily and monthly financial reporting
- Draw up plans and budget (revenue, costs ect.)
- Act as a final decision maker in hiring key staff.
- Provide effective leadership to team members.
- Lead in all aspects of business planning.
Required Skills and Experience
- A University degree or diploma in facility / hotel management or a related field is beneficial with experience in managing a facility/hotel with a clear track record.
- Facility / Hotel Management experience: 5 to 6 years
- Computer Literate: 10 years or more
- Finance Skills: 5 to 6 years
- The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent professional with outstanding, management skills and extensive hands-on experience.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights
