Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a ‘180’ Recruitment Consultant with a focus on candidate searching, sourcing, and engagement.
This role will involve proactively identifying, attracting, and engaging high-quality candidates, particularly within the legal and compliance sectors.
As part of a small, agile team, you will report directly to one of our Directors, and have the chance to work closely with experienced recruitment professionals while developing your skills in a supportive environment. You will have no direct reports, allowing you to concentrate on candidate management and engagement strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively source, search, and engage with potential candidates through various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and networking)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates in the legal and compliance sectors
- Screen and interview candidates to match them with relevant job opportunities
- Keep the candidate pipeline active by continuously sourcing new talent
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to meet client needs and fulfill open roles
- Provide a positive candidate experience through effective communication and relationship management
Experience required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment, ideally within the legal (and/or compliance) sectors.
- Proven ability to source, engage, and build strong relationships with candidates
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with modern recruitment tools and platforms
- Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative
- The ability to overcome objections and manage candidate expectations
